Other Related Description

1. A trademark application may specify 20 kinds of products for a time, and an additional official fee will be charged for more than 20 kinds of products.
2. Within six months before and after the trademark term expires (the official fee will be doubled), a trademark can be extended for 10 years each time.   
3. A registered trademark may be revoked if not being actively used for three consecutive years.  
4. A registration fee (either a full registration fee or the first of the two-period registration fees) should be paid for a granted trademark within 2 months starting from the second day of receiving the Notice of Allowance before the trademark is registered and published, and then a trademark certificate is issued.

The processing time is counted from the date of receiving documents and excludes the time for the notice of correction, response, reply or the extension for other proper reasons.
